***WARNING***
There area TON of pictures in this post, so bear with me! It was a super fun day with FABULOUS weather, a very happy little girl and many sweet moments! Just had to capture as many as possible!
The first weekend of October, Mommy, Grandma and Mallory headed out to the Devine Family Acres about an hour outside San Antonio. The family has a Christmas Tree farm out there, but hosts this fun fall-themed event during October and November.
Our first activity was the hay ride- we all had a great time!
Mallory and Mommy played "peek-a-boo" over this haystack!
Then Mallory struck a major pose for the camera!
Next, we picked out our pumpkins in the pumpkin patch!
Mallory was sweet and held still for so many pictures!
Her favorite pumpkins were these itty bitties!
She put two of her pumpkins in this tree stump so she could pose for picture with them!
Next, we headed to the painting area. Mommy was nervous about the mess, but they had thought of everything! There were sweet little aprons for all the kids to wear, and Mallory truly didn't get a spot on her!
Carefully painting her pumpkin's face....
Didn't she do a good job?
She added a few more touches...
Ta-da!!!
They even had an area where your pumpkins could dry while you enjoyed the rest of your day!
Of course, we couldn't paint just ONE pumpkin....
Details, details....so focused!
Two of the THREE pumpkins we painted today....
...we even tried to paint a rock!
I think this pumpkin stem got a grand total of 12 coats of purple paint!
Once we peeled Mallory away from the painting- it was NOT an easy task... we went on the barrel train!
Waving to Grandma, and driving through their Christmas Tree crop!
Posing in the haystack maze.
"Mommy? We're trapped!"
Checking out the baby chicks...
Posing with a scarecrow...
Roasting Marshmallows.... can you see how much Mommy is enjoying THIS activity?
...and dressing our own Scarecrow- such a cute idea!
Mallory loved her scarecrow!
Finally, four hours, three pumpkins and six tired feet later, we called it a day! Mallory posed with her three pumpkins before we headed back home.
There were only two things missing that would have made this day perfect.....
Daddy and Grandpa.
