When Meg and the kids come and visit San Antonio we are always on the lookout for activities to keep everybody busy! The San Antonio heat is never our friend, but some events are worth getting out there for a few hours!
This summer, the San Antonio Botanical Gardens had a display of Playhouses and Forts. Several area artists submitted designs for their idea of futuristic and creative forts. The top 8 were given $3000 each and brought their visions to life.
The slideshow below shows most of the forts. We were all HOT but we had a great day.... and yes, Mallory is wearing her Zebra dress.... again! I think this is the 4th post that shows her wearing it- and there are more to come! What can I say? At least I got my money's worth- and it is perfect for these hot summer days!
Mallory is really into Dora the Explorer right now, and she she wore her back pack and brought her binoculars to explore with Dora. I am thinking of submitting some of the pics to Nick Jr's website for their "Explorer of the Day"...... but updating the blog comes first! Anyway- enjoy the pictures!
