Fun in the Guadeloupe River!

Another tradition over the past few Julys in San Antonio is going to the Guadeloupe River.  There is a great park where the water is calm, and we can set up a picnic and spend the day.  Mallory and I went last year for the first time, but THIS year, she was ALL over it!  I didn't get many pictures, just about 5 minutes worth, but you can get a glimpse of how much fun we all had!

Mallory was very serious with her "fishing net"
...ok...not THAT serious!
How this child loves rocks- why do we even buy toys anymore?
She literally sat here for an hour playing with the rocks and her bucket!
There is no sand, just lots of little rocks, so it is not easy to walk without water shoes, but Mallory would not leave them on, so she was very slow and steady- I was grateful she wasn't moving too fast!
Lounging in the water, and shifting rocks from one bucket to the other!
