In these photos, we are wearing our "Kistler Family Vacation" T-Shirts. I designed them, and had them made for our trip. Charles was a real sport about wearing our matchy-matchy outfits! His shirt said "I'm the Dad", mine said "I'm the Mom" and Mallory's said "I'm the Big Girl".
We decided the Dole Plantation was the perfect arena to show off our family shirts, and actually several people commented on them and asked me where I got them!
None of us had ever seen pineapple crops before. Mallory kept saying- "Look! there's a pineapple!"
"And look..... ANOTHER pineapple!"
Mallory actually cooperated for a picture! Amazing!
Goofing around with her Daddy!
Waiting to ride the Pineapple Express.... and for those who have kept up with our blog for a while.... can you see what she is holding? That's right... the princesses HAD to come to Hawaii with us- and they went to just about EVERY attraction with us! Luckily, they also ALL made it back to Texas...whew!
Another postcard-worthy shot from Charles....
Our family aboard the Pineapple Express. Mallory loved all the music they played on the ride.
Did YOU know this is what a pineapple plant looks like?
The plantation was gorgeous.
After the ride, we just HAD to have some Dole Whip- delicious soft-serve pineapple ice cream with fresh chopped pineapple on top. Unfortunately, once Daddy arrived with it at the table, I was working full time to keep Mallory from getting super sticky, and I failed to get a photo of the delectable treat! :( But here she was, waiting patiently for Daddy.....
After the plantation, we had a beach picnic, and Charles fulfilled my photo dream for these shirts- thanks, sweetie!
What a fun trip! I'm glad you got to spend some time with your man, and as a family! You look awesome by the way.
