Our second full day was kicked off with a Glass Bottom Boat tour in Kaneoha Bay.
There were two long rows of benches that had "boxes" you leaned over to look down and through the glass into the reef below.
We just happened to sit in front of the box that had NO glass! The water splashed up as the boat moved faster and faster!
Once we got over the middle of the reef, our boat's "first mate" dove under the boat and swam by to tell us all the "hang loose" as we looked through the glass to the gorgeous fish below.
Mallory and Mommy enjoyed feeding the fish bread.
We shared lots of giggles as we looked for sea turtles passing by!
Mallory loved the boat!
This is a boat being used in the 4th "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. The "Black Pearl" arrived a couple days later, but we didn't make it back for a picture.
That afternoon, we headed over to the Kualoa Ranch. Lots of movies (like one of my faves- "50 First Dates") and television shows (like "Lost") are filmed on the Ranch property.
They have special 10 minute horseback rides for kids... Mallory was so excited!
She ate almost this ENTIRE giant apple all by herself, right before the ride!
Mallory was not timid AT ALL, and enjoyed the ride so much! The horses name was "Baby Doll".
