Cheering up a SICK Grandma!

Grandma woke up one day, and was not feeling quite right.  Mommy had left REALLY early that day for a doctor's appointment, so Grandpa helped Grandma get Mallory ready for school.  Mallory was soooooo worried about Grandma!  She thought about her all day!

Grandpa drove Mallory to school that day, and Mommy was home in time to pick her up.  When we got home, Grandma was on the mend, and feeling much better, but was still in bed.  Mallory RAN back to her room, reached into her bucket, and presented this picture of the gingerbread man to Grandma.  Then, she climbed up in bed with her and got under the covers!  It was really sweet!
It must have been something Grandma ate, because none of us ever got sick- thank goodness!  But we are so lucky Mallory would be there to cheer us all up if we DID ever get sick!

  1. So sweet that Mallory was so concerned about her Grandma. I love it how 2-3 year olds start to think about others and actually remember it later in the day or beyond!
